Bulldogs Racing
Yale University’s Formula SAE Team, est. 2006.
We build fully electric, open-wheel, formula-style race cars.
Bulldogs Racing strives to be a venue for innovation and inspiration in engineering.
This year, we are building a new all-electric race car: BR25.
Our team is investigating cutting-edge electric drivetrain technology that’s propelling the automotive industry forward.
Racing and competition drive our organization, but education lies at the core of Bulldogs Racing.
We aim to:
- Develop transferable problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills by tackling real-world problems in engineering and business management
- Prepare for careers in a wide variety of fields thanks to the diverse and challenging nature of managing a racecar engineering team
- Gain proficiency with CAE software, machine shop tools, electronic systems design, programming, composites, safety practices, and business administration
- Represent Yale University, the Yale University School of Engineering and Applied Science, and our sponsors as an ambassador for excellence in education, engineering, and business
